What’s the difference between Junior and Senior sizes?

Junior is for players aged 10–15 (head circumference 53–56 cm), Senior for 16+ (56–60 cm). Boy (8–10 years, 50–53 cm) is available only in the UNI line. If in doubt, choose the larger size — the straps allow tightening.

Why Convex 17 Titanium vs Stainless?

The Titanium version weighs 30% less (about 320 g) than Stainless (about 470 g) — ideal for goalies and junior players. Strength is comparable and both meet the same standard. Stainless is 30% cheaper.

Can the guard be washed in a dishwasher?

NO — high temperatures (60+ °C) deform the plastic and degrade the visor’s anti-fog coating. Clean with warm water (max 40 °C) and a neutral detergent, rinse, and air-dry.

How long does a guard last?

Accepted Answer

3–5 seasons with normal use. Signs of wear: cracks in the frame, loss of elasticity in the rubber trim, visible scratches on the visor. If it deforms after an impact, replace it immediately — safety matters more than longevity.
